Workshops
The “Kids in Ministry” conference includes interactive main sessions, musical and dramatic presentations as well as four specialist tracks.
Part A – Main Sessions:
All children will participate in main sessions focused around the following themes:
Uncovering God – Kids will be challenged to keep growing in their personal relationship with Jesus and learn what it means to be a true follower of the risen Christ.
Missional Living – Surrounded by questions about what they will do when they grow up, the message that whatever they do as a vocation they are to be a missionary is often lost. Kids will be challenged to live a missional life and equipped to do so.
It’s a Big Kingdom – We’ll take a virtual tour around the world and learn about what God is doing in places you didn’t know existed, and how kids can make a difference on the other side of the world right now.
Part B – Specialist Tracks
In addition to the main sessions, each attendee will participate in one of the following four specialist tracks:
Puppetry - Veteran or brand new puppetry teams will learn and grow together as they learn new techniques, refine their skills and gain an appreciation for the significance of their ministry.
Drama - Teams that enjoy being in the spotlight will expand their dramatic skills, learn skits and how to effectively communicate scriptural truths in an effective manner.
Music - Worship teams will learn about developing a stage presence, the difference between performance and leading and the awesome responsibility of leading others to God’s presence.
Ministry - Kids are some of the most powerful and effective ministers and intercessors in our church. Learn to be released to pray for others at the altar and to intercede for them.
