Kids in Ministry Conference for youth Grades 4 to 8

What is K.I.M.? We believe you're never too young to be transformed by God and used to touch lives. The heartbeat of this conference is to give an opportunity for kids to go deeper in their relationship with God and discover their calling to be leaders in their churches, schools and amongst their peers. The Bible says in Isaiah 11:6, "...a little child will lead them". This is our mandate and our desire; to see kids brought into their full potential as they see the kingdom of heaven come to earth, because "the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).

This weekend is dedicated to allowing the presence of God to transform our lives, which is the starting point for all ministry. We are blessed to have Pastor Jeff Harmon, along with the God Rocks team, leading our main KIM sessions.

We invite you to bring students in grades 4-8 who are involved in your ministry to Upswing 2010 to attend the "Kids in Ministry" Conference. You won't want to miss it!

We also desire to train and equip these young leaders in the areas of prayer, worship, spiritual gifts, evangelism and creative presentation. Our KIM guest workshop speakers include; Donna Boone, Connie Jakab, God Rocks!, Ryan Marshall, Coreen Frey and Julie Palley. Check out the workshop schedule for a better look at the practical training opportunities to choose from and make sure to sign up for your choices on your registration.

(In order for children to attend, they must register and come with at least one adult leader from the church who is also registered for the Conference. This adult will attend the KIM sessions with the students from your church. The Upswing Conference does not provide supervision for them.)
